The Journey

     Graduated with a degree of Fine Arts, I spent my beginning career as a sculptural ceramic artist. First showcasing with my life size dogs, at galleries, and museum throughout the United States.  After five years I needed more diversity, throwing on a pottery wheel gave me that freedom.   

           Moving forward in the studio, I adopted the signature of the paw, which lead me to my nickname Claypaws. My partner fell into the same passion in clay, having a background in digital art, the next step was clear. A year later we worked closely together in creating concepts to be used on the functional wares. 

           Here at Dowidat Ceramics we strive for creating the best, unique, functional pottery. All glazes are made on site, the pottery thrown by my hands, each detail is done with all the carefulness creating pieces that are as unique as you.
